    MAKING INNOVATION MORE ACCESSIBLE.

Driven by our commitment to innovative world-first colour experiences and community feedback, we're thrilled to announce improved pricing for SPECTRA Eye Colour at £24, reflecting our shift towards community-centric approaches.

Introducing SPECTRA HALCYON, a collection of transcendent shades that transform to brilliant silver under a camera flash, in celebration of community and connection through reflection.

Blur the lines of physical and digital reality with SPECTRA Eye Colour. Made using retroreflective beads within a smooth creamy formula, our innovative glass microspheres are half-coated with aluminium to transform the product into a bright, reflective silver under a phone camera's flash.

SPECTRA can be applied using a brush or your fingers, and for best results, leave the product to dry for about a minute. To activate its reflective effect, use the back-facing camera on your phone with the flash on, and watch it transform through your phone's screen.

    03. Find a dark environment with minimal or absent light

    04. Strike a pose and take your photo with the flash on or a light close to your eyes

TOP TIP: Showcase the on/off effect by alternating the light exposure to reveal the unseen, a live photo with flash showcases the effect best.

FAQ's

Frequently asked quetions

FAQ's
A: Retroreflective beads are tiny glass spheres that have an aluminium coating on one side. These are what give SPECTRA its transformational properties as they reflect light straight back at you, allowing you to see their bright effect.
A: Based on the current scientific research available, glass spheres are not considered to be toxic or harmful to the environment. Unlike microplastics or microbeads, the retroreflective beads don’t bio-concentrate up the food chain.
A: Microbeads are extremely small (<5mm) pieces of plastic that are banned in cosmetics. SPECTRA uses retroreflective beads that are made of glass and not plastic, therefore are not classified as microplastics, and so aren’t banned or harmful to the environment.
A: Glitter and Bio-glitter is usually made from PET/cellulose that’s been coated in aluminium and their individual pieces are flat which means they don’t retroreflect. SPECTRA’s beads are made from glass and are spherical, allowing them to retroreflect light unlike glitter.
A: SPECTRA is completely safe to use and has been approved for use on the eye. It’s undergone ophthalmological testing and is classified as a non-irritant.
