You are responsible for any customs payments for deliveries outside the U.K.

We are unable to make changes to your order. Orders cannot be redirected once shipped.

You will be charged in British Pounds (£GBP).

We are unable to accept returns once the product (including the vacuum pouch) has been opened. If you believe your product is faulty, or need help with a return, email contact@theunseenbeauty.co.uk.

Our pouches are compostable — 26 weeks at home, or 12 weeks industrially (check with your council).

Separate cap and tube and recycle via curb-side programs (check locally).

Recycle with your regular paper/cardboard collection (FSC certified).

Our aluminium tins are 100% curbside recyclable with biodegradable stickers and recycled cardboard insert - just peel off the sticker, rinse and pop them in with your household recycling. Or better yet, give them a second life! Use them to store brushes, stationary, travel essentials, or anything small and precious, we like to use ours to burn incense sticks in. Beautiful on the outside, useful on the inside again and again.

Currently, the majority of makeup caps and wands in the beauty industry are made from some form of plastic and we’re not happy about that. It’s something we’re actively working to change, but developing alternatives takes time and investment. In the meantime, we’ve chosen the most responsible option available: recyclable polypropylene (PP) and nylon. This means your cap and wand can be recycled via most curbside collections or at in-store beauty recycling banks. That said, the real challenge lies within the recycling system itself. These small components can easily slip through filters at processing plants and end up in landfill. As a next step we’re working on launching our own recycling return scheme, so we can take this problem off your hands entirely, stay tuned! For now, we highly recommend checking out the British Beauty Council’s recycling directory to find local drop-off points in your area: britishbeautycouncil.com/recycling-points

Great news, we worked hard to solve the issue of plastic caps and barrels, both the ABORPTION barrel and cap are made from compostable, bio-based materials. The barrel is crafted from biodegradable cellulose, and the cap is made from a sustainable bio-resin. Once used, simply remove any remaining product and place them in your home compost bin or industrial composting where accepted. As always, check your local guidelines for compostable materials.

Great question! We’ve been able to bring distribution in-house and are no longer manufacturing through Schwarzkopf. This gives us full control over the process and significantly reduces production costs. We’re passing those savings directly on to you - making MYCHROMA more accessible to everyone who wants to play with bold, artistic hair colour.

The legal entity responsible for this product has changed. Previously, the product was manufactured and distributed by THEUNSEEN Ltd, London E8 2FQ. Following the acquisition of THEUNSEEN Ltd, all responsibility has been transferred to THEUNSEEN EXISTS Ltd. This change does not affect product quality, formulation, safety, or compliance. We remain fully compliant with CE regulations.

THEUNSEEN Ltd was acquired by THEUNSEEN EXISTS Ltd following a period of financial difficulty, during which THEUNSEEN Ltd lost critical funding and subsequently entered administration.
