Inspired by structural colour found on beetle shells and peacock feathers, COLOUR ALCHEMY's patented formula uses microprism technology that imitates the prismatic effect that until now, had only been seen in nature.

How To Use

Applying COLOUR ALCHEMY Hair:
01. Simply paint or sponge the COLOUR ALCHEMY Hair liquid onto clean hair.
02. Comb through and dry with a hair dryer or leave to dry naturally.
TOP TIP: Gently comb the product through when it's still wet to ensure even application through the hair and avoid overbrushing as the product dries as this will remove the product.

Applying COLOUR ALCHEMY Hair on textured hair:
01. Prep the hair.
02. Simply apply using a sponge, fingers, brush, or spray on the product
03. Depending on your texture and desired look, comb through and blow dry.

Activating COLOUR ALCHEMY Hair prismatic effect:
01. Once the product has dried, watch the colours fluctuates depending on the temperature of your environment.
NOTE: Colour change activates between 28-33 ºC (82-91 ºF). The speed of the colour change depends on the change in temperature or change in the strength of UV light. It can happen quickly and dramatically. If you go from inside to outside on a sunny day or use hot air from a blow dryer, the colour transforms with ease.

Removing COLOUR ALCHEMY Hair:
01. Just wash out and blow dry your hair to remove.

Q: What does different hair base number mean?

A: The level system is made up of 10 numbers. 1 is black, 2 is darkest brown, 3 is dark brown, 4 is brown, 5 is light brown, 6 is dark blonde, 7 is blonde, 8 is light blonde, 9 is very light blonde and 10 is the lightest blonde.

A: COLOUR ALCHEMY use a unique structured light technology to reflect only specific wavelengths of colour to the viewer. As the temperature changes, so do the microprisms, shifting the colour that people see.

A: Simply paint, or sponge the COLOUR ALCHEMY liquid onto clean hair, comb through and dry with a hairdryer or leave to dry naturally.

Q: How long does it last?

A: The product lasts until the next wash.

Q: Will it damage my hair?

A: No. Unlike other dyes, COLOUR ALCHEMY doesn’t affect the health or structure of the hair. It is a non-permanent hair colour and doesn’t require pre-lightening or bleaching which are highly corrosive and damaging to the long term health of your hair.

Q: Is it permanent?

A: No. Wash and dry your hair as normal to remove the hair colour.

Q: Do I need to lighten my hair first?

A: No. COLOUR ALCHEMY works on both light and dark hair and doesn’t require any damaging pre-lightening or bleaching treatment.

Q: How quickly does the hair change colour?

A: The speed of the colour change depends on the change in temperature or change in strength of UV light. It can happen fast and dramatically, if you go from inside to outside on a sunny day, or put the warm air of a blow dryer over your hair.
