How To Use

How to apply SPECTRA
For best results, apply SPECTRA using a brush or your finger and leave to dry for about one minute.
Once dry to the touch, watch it transforms under your phone’s camera's flash through the screen.
How to capture SPECTRA
01. Apply SPECTRA and allow to dry fully
02. Ensure you have a small and direct light source like a ring light that can go around your camera lens or the back flash of your phone’s camera
03. Find a dark environment with minimal or absent light
04. Strike a pose and take your photo with the flash on or a light close to your eyes
TOP TIP: Showcase the on/off effect by alternating the light exposure to reveal the unseen, a live photo with flash showcases the effect best.
How to apply Glitter
Submission Beauty™ glitter can be applied with the fingers, or using a makeup brush.
Completely free of aluminium, it is the first and only glitter that is FDA-approved for usage on lips.
TOP TIP: The glitter is bleed resistant and even the red shades are suitable for use around the eyes. It is also suitable for the body as well as for water-based applications, soaps, oils, and more.

As supplied in dry form, Bioglitter™ has an indefinite shelf life, provided it is stored in a dry, cool environment, out of direct sunlight, away from direct heat sources and not exposed to microorganisms. We recommend that it be used within 3 years after opening. It is free of the 14 most common food allergens, though please be aware it is not edible.

A: Retroreflective beads are tiny glass spheres that have an aluminium coating on one side. These are what give SPECTRA its transformational properties as they reflect light straight back at you, allowing you to see their bright effect.

Q: Are SPECTRA retroreflective beads environmentally friendly?

A: Based on the current scientific research available, glass spheres are not considered to be toxic or harmful to the environment. Unlike microplastics or microbeads, the retroreflective beads don’t bio-concentrate up the food chain.

Q: What makes Submission Beauty™ Glitter different from other glitter?

A: Submission Beauty™ replaced the polyester film used in traditional cosmetic glitter with a special form of cellulose extracted from hardwoods, primarily eucalyptus sourced from responsibly managed and certified plantations operating to PEFC™ standards. Made from natural and plant-derived material rather than plastic, it has been developed to biodegrade quickly and safely in the natural environment.
