We spoke to Moon about all things beauty and what we can expect from them next.

Q: What is unseen that you'd like to see?

Moon: PEACE!

Q: Throughout your work as a multi-disciplinary artist and activist, it’s clear that you approach beauty and art with a fresh look. What does beauty mean to you?

Moon: First of all, thank you very much for your kind words. Beauty for us symbolises a positive reaction through any of our sensory receptors, and because every single one of us is different, it's very important to keep extending the experience of projections within society – for many reasons, and one of them is to minimise the toxicity of the old-fashioned so-called "beauty standards" into something more soulful. So, all together, beauty mean to us an opportunity for expanded joy and that's how it should be treated.

Q: What is the most beautiful part of your being?

Moon: We like the positive direction of these questions so far. We cherish the most our kindness, honesty, bravery, selflessness and our ability to keep moving forward.

Q: In 2019, you were named as one of the most innovative and inspiring young creatives by the British Fashion Council. When it comes to beauty, how do you see innovation changing the face the beauty today?

Moon: We've been incredibly honoured by that recognition, and it was certainly one of our peak moments before we entered the dystopian era with 2020, that we are finally branching out of. Innovation is the frontier of the evolution that beauty is going through.

The new perspectives, technology, materials and techniques are all shaping the way we see society and ourselves. And the more there is, the more diverse our viewpoints get and also it creates more opportunities to become who we truly are without compromising our physical and mental health, blurring the lines between rich and poor, creating more sustainable ways that don't harm nature, and creating more ways to help us to simply move forward.

Q: What can we expect to see next from Moon?

Moon: We've been very lucky that we always knew our direction, so we'll continue our activism and with our intuitive multidisciplinary journey of storytelling with visuals, sound and philosophy.

We started with visuals because it felt right (also maybe because first there was a light) then sound, which we firstly used as a soundtrack to our visuals but is now slowly moving to become the driving force and philosophy or thoughts in general. It was, is and always will be at the core of our expressions and experience as a conscious being. Plus collaborations, because we love them so much!
